Ukulele

Children in Year 2 and Year 4 are learning the ukulele as part of our music curriculum this term.  

Children in Year 4 are specifically learning to:

- play notes (and chords)
- continue to learn to read from basic musical notation 
- recognise and create repeated patterns (ostinato)
- begin to learn to read chord notation 
- recognise and identify instruments being played
- compare music and express growing tastes in music

 We look forward to hearing a performance towards the end of term!
